DESTRUYE EL PREJUICIO Y EL RACISMO, 24 DE NOVIEMBRE

Porque todos los que habéis sido bautizados en Cristo, de Cristo estáis revestidos. Ya no hay judío ni griego; no hay esclavo ni libre; no hay varón ni mujer; porque todos vosotros sois uno en Cristo Jesús. Gálatas 3:27, 28. {RP 339.1}

Dios no conoce ninguna distinción por causa de la nacionalidad, la raza o la casta. Es el Hacedor de toda la humanidad. Todos los hombres son una familia por la creación, y todos son uno por la redención. Cristo vino para demoler todo muro de separación, para abrir todo departamento del templo para que cada persona pudiese tener libre acceso a Dios... {RP 339.2}

La religión de la Biblia no reconoce casta ni color. Ignora el rango, la riqueza y el honor mundanal. Dios estima a los hombres en su calidad de hombres. El carácter es el que decide el valor de los hombres a la vista de Dios. Y nosotros debemos reconocer el Espíritu de Cristo en cualquier persona en quien se revele. {RP 339.3}

Cristo trataba de enseñar a sus discípulos la verdad de que en el reino de Dios no hay fronteras nacionales, ni casta ni aristocracia; que ellos debían ir a todas las naciones, llevándoles el mensaje del amor del Salvador. {RP 339.4}

Las paredes divisorias del sectarismo, las castas y las razas se desplomarán cuando el verdadero espíritu misionero entre en los corazones de los hombres. El prejuicio es eliminado por el amor de Dios. {RP 339.5}

Se han erigido paredes de separación entre los blancos y los negros. Estas paredes de prejuicios se desplomarán como las murallas de Jericó, cuando los cristianos obedezcan la Palabra de Dios, que ordena amor supremo al Hacedor y amor imparcial al prójimo. {RP 339.6}

PREJUDICE AND RACISM DESTROYED, NOVEMBER 24

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:27, 28. {YRP 337.1}

No distinction on account of nationality, race, or caste, is recognized by God. He is the Maker of all mankind. All men are of one family by creation, and all are one through redemption. Christ came to demolish every wall of partition, to throw open every compartment of the temple, that every soul may have free access to God.—Christ's Object Lessons, 386. {YRP 337.2}

The religion of the Bible recognizes no caste or color. It ignores rank, wealth, worldly honor. God estimates men as men. With Him, character decides their worth. And we are to recognize the Spirit of Christ in whomsoever He is revealed.—Testimonies for the Church 9:223. {YRP 337.3}

Thus Christ sought to teach the disciples the truth that in God's kingdom there are no territorial lines, no caste, no aristocracy; that they must go to all nations, bearing to them the message of a Saviour's love.—The Acts of the Apostles, 20. {YRP 337.4}

The walls of sectarianism and caste and race will fall down when the true missionary spirit enters the hearts of men. Prejudice is melted away by the love of God.—The Review and Herald, January 21, 1896. {YRP 337.5}

Walls of separation have been built up between the whites and the blacks. These walls of prejudice will tumble down of themselves as did the walls of Jericho, when Christians obey the Word of God, which enjoins on them supreme love to their Maker and impartial love to their neighbors—The Review and Herald, December 17, 1895. {YRP 337.6}

When the Holy Spirit is poured out, there will be a triumph of humanity over prejudice in seeking the salvation of the souls of human beings. God will control minds. Human hearts will love as Christ loved. And the color line will be regarded by many very differently from the way in which it is now regarded. To love as Christ loves lifts the mind into a pure, heavenly, unselfish atmosphere.—Testimonies for the Church 9:209. {YRP 337.7}
